May is the month when summer and winter meet, where sliding on snow, golfing, bike riding and water sports can all be enjoyed on a single day. GO Fest falls on the Victoria Day Long Weekend, with four days of events to welcome warmer months and get everyone out and enjoying Whistler’s great outdoors.
GO Fest is all about Whistler’s great outdoors, from the physical activities and adventures that get you out and about, to movies that will inspire you to keep on exploring and arts and culture events that blend time in nature with creativity.
Get ready to put our lakes and trails to good use with everything from stand up paddleboarding to cycling to ping pong!
Pick up a new skill or freshen up an old one after winter with a clinic. Learn how to DJ, improve your photography skills or discover the right way to throw an axe.
It’s not just about exploring the outdoors – it’s about expanding your mental horizons, too.
GO Fest’s outdoor concerts fill the Village with free, live music from Friday through to Sunday on the Village Square Main Stage. Artists include Corb Lund, Jesse Roper, Said the Whale, Tonye Aganaba, Buckman Coe and Lazy Syrup Orchestra.
The pedestrian-friendly Village Stroll is the perfect place to hang out and catch a couple of events, with free street entertainment daily, markets, car rallies and more.
